Ok, OK. I finally broke down and bought the CD. It arrived yesterday and I listened to it for the first two times on my way to and from work today.
Simply...FANTASTIC! When thinking about this recording I had know idea what to expect. For some reason though I had this notion that it was going to
be some kind of pumped up country music record. Unfortunately for me, being a long time metal head from the Keel days, I almost tricked myself into
not enjoying it before I even listened to it. What a shame that would have been as it has turned out to be so much more than that. So on that note I
want to tell the band...GREAT JOB! Im sure i will be listening to the CD on my to and from work for some time now. Two things really stood out to me
though when listening to it today. First was how Ron's voice has really progressed since the metal days. He sounds terrific. and secondly is Jay's
guitar playing. WOW! That kind of playing I really didnt expect on the album. Now of course I dont mean to take away from the rest of the band as they
sound real tight together on the recording. With that being said I will end this post before it becomes a book...I will be emailing and calling
radio stations in the Boston area to try and get some airplay for the band as I think more people should be exposed to this fine album. And once
again, to the band...Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words, Eric. Glad you gave the CD a chance and it held up it's end. You should have heard the rough mixes--way heavier, way more
guitar! 
Keep your eyes open for news of our overseas release, which will feature a very heavy tune that did not make the U.S. release.

The rough mixes sound like they would be cool to listen to. Ill definately pick up the overseas release to hear the new track. Any thoughts of
releasing or somehow eventually making the heavier mixes available?

We have no plans at this time--these rough mixes were merely just us and the producer pushing up the faders and running one rough pass so we had
something to listen to on the way home from the last of the recording sessions. We know there's a percentage of listeners who woud have preferred a
ballsier mix but there were a number of different potential markets to consider so we sat on the fence as best we could in the hopes of appealing to
the widest audience possible

Thanks Eric. Very cool, we appreciate the compliments and we're glad you like the album. I find myself listening to it fairly often, and I always
enjoy it, and feel pride and fulfillment when I hear those songs - it really is a damn good album and certainly one of the best of my career.
The rough mixes suck, by the way. They sound like home recordings.
"Under The Gun" has been remixed and is on its way to my mailbox as we speak - I will report when I receive it.

Just my opinion here but when *Under The Gun* was originally mixed it had a very heavy sound and I thought it rocked.......but unfortunatly everyone
else disagreed and it didnt make the final cut for the CD. I am eager to hear the new mix. There is another cut that didnt make it to the CD that
for some reason gives me a hair raising experience evry time I hear it. Ronnie and I have discussed it many times. Maybe it will have the same effect
on the powers that be for the over seas CD?!
