AS A UK RESIDENT, KEEL WAS NEVER HEARD OF OVER HERE,
MY FRIEND WAS A COLLECTOR OF ALL THINGS ROCK!!
THAT IS THE ONLY WAY I WOULD HAVE EVER HEARD OF KEEL I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID FIND OUT ABOUT THAT AMAZING BAND WHO WERE MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIME I DON'T
BELIVE IN CHANCE , EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON.

I got into Keel thanks to KISS. The Right To Rock was my first album of theirs. I bought the LP (yep, LP) at a grocery store of all places, and have
been hooked ever since. There's not a single Keel release that I don't love immensely. Not long after buying The Right To Rock I went out and got Lay
Down the Law, which still remains my favorite LP cover of all time. I've met Ron

My first Keel experience was in high school. I saw them open for Bon Jovi in Hershey, PA. They were actually the first band I ever saw live. And that
was it for me. They were touring in support of the Keel album. Later that week, I went out and bought all the Keel cassette tapes I could find in the
music store. They didn't have much to choose from and it was always difficult to to find their music. Central PA was not a big hub for certain
artists.
Keel has always been my favorite band and I have have wished for so many years to be able to see them again and never got the opportunity. I do hope I
get the chance to see Ron one day perform some Keel songs.
Their music was the soundtrack of my youth. So many memories are associated with those songs. Many people would never understand the power of his
music and how it has helped me through various stages of my life.
I don't know if Ron reads these boards much. But, if you do, thank you for all the years of great music, inspiration and bringing happiness to many
people. I may not know everything about Keel but I'm pretty sure that I'm the biggest Keel fan and supporter in Central PA!

No you're not.
My first Keel was either Lay Down The Law or Steeler.I probably got them both at about the same time.A friend of mine would buy everything metal that
came out and he was getting me caught up on all that came out before we met.
First saw Keel at Swizzles in York PA in August of 1986.Then two weeks later at the now defunct Rocky Glenn park near Scranton PA.
Things were quite for me on the Keel front until we saw Iron Horse in York in 2001.It was then that I first learned of The Fair Game,Back in Action
and Saber Tiger cd's. I had to get caught up all over again.
