New IronHorse Message Forum Launched

Welcome to the new IronHorse message forum - For those who have participated in our previous Message Board, I thank you in advance and hope that you will enjoy this and keep on doing what you've been doing the past few years: hanging out, taking part, and sharing the good times (and the bad) with YOUR BAND. Please Bookmark this page and add it to your favorites.

I want to thank Karen at Rock N Roll Access for doing such a great job building these forums. I want to thank Mark & Joy Hypes who built and maintained the IronHorse forum these past few years - Mark is now doing many more business related activities for IronHorse, in addition to continuing his role as our Merchandise Chief, and this will enable him to focus more on his expanded role on our team (but I'm sure he will be very active here as usual).

I know it's been quiet on the IronHorse front these past couple of months, but those of us behind the scenes have not been sitting on our asses. Everyone involved has been working hard to make some big things happen and we're looking forward to making some exciting announcements soon - and you'll hear it hear first.

There are individual forums for all of my projects - addition to IronHorse, there is a lot going on with my other projects KEEL & WAYNE, KEEL, and Steeler - that news, and those discussions, will be reserved for those individual forums. This forum is the place for all things IronHorse, so BRING IT ON.

Good to see you all here. I feel confident that this server and these forums will withstand all the heavy use and abuse that our People can dish out...

I've still got some homework to do regarding some the technical stuff - I never was good at the fonts and smiley faces and such - but I see an 'attachment' function, let's give it a try...

Looks like there is a place to add a url of your avatar, but if your avatar isn't hosted on a site somewhere, then one can't be uploaded. I will see what I can find for uploading avatars.

I was a "newbie," but now I'm a "junior" member. Sounds like a teenager with parental controls. I just don't understand the ranking system, but no big whoop I guess. I'll scrape my way to "mediocre" member soon, then the world is my oyster.

Hey Ron, its funny that you showed that pic of the girl. I was at a birthday party a few weeks ago and the guy had that exact pic hanging in his garage. Sometimes... I think I wish mine were brains... LOL :cool:

Hey folks - as far as your 'status', you know you are all tops in my book, but this is a new board and all non-band members are starting from a level playing field. I'm sure you frequent flyers will notch up your status quickly. I have no control over that - as moderator, I can edit your posts, delete your posts, run you out of here, but I can't change technical settings and such. This is like an on-line house where we all hang out - Karen & Rock N Roll Access built the house, and I know absolutely nothing about the plumbing.

But I do know how to flush the toilet...
