Hey everybody,
My wife and I were lucky enough to see the guys 3 times while they were here in Ohio and were at the show yesterday and let me tell ya, it was
something that had to be experienced firsthanded.
I'll set the scene. The show was right on the shore of Buckeye Lake, with overcast skies and chilly temperatures. The stage was made of wooden planks
and when the guys jumped up to play...they were barefoot! Now about 30 minutes into the set, Charlie broke a guitar string, there was a "pop"and the
power overload kicked out...no sound. The guys took a time out for "technical difficulties." Some of the people that were watching went
inside...others left. This is where it starts to get good. Charlie and Ron gave my wife a sweatshirt to wear to keep warm while they fixed the
problem. While they were busy working, storm clouds rolled across the lake and it really got cold. When the guys started playin again, there were only
a handfull of people listening. Now, BY NO MEANS am I saying that these guys can't pack a place in, because we know they do it time and time again.
The reason for this detail, is that about 20 minutes later and right after playing a requested "Don't Stop" by yours truly, there was another "pop"
and this time, smoke started snaking out of both left and right side speakers. That's right...they played so loud and hard that they blew up their
speakers... for JUST A HANDFULL OF FRIENDS! That's what I'm talkin about. Now, when most musicians would pack it up...these guys pulled the cables out
of their guitars, came down to us and played an "Ultra Unplugged" set.
This is what it's all about people. And I was there!
NUFF SAID!

I was there to see the smokin speakers...and that was a moment in time. These two are quite a pair to say the least. It was nice to meet you Troy and
Kim.
It was also nice to meet Charlie Tatman, Paula, Charlie Wayne and as always it was nice seeing you again Ron.
Take care guys and continue to Rock on!!! Book some more shows...I would like to catch another show in the future.
Jo

The giving of 100% by Ronnie is the norm. You can expect nothing less if there are a million in attendance or the 8 of us that remained. This is
what makes him a true showman.
Very much enjoyed the up close and personal Smooth Up In Ya!! Thanks
