Outstanding show; awesome acoustic versions of Rough Cutt/Keel tunes plus some outstanding classic rock renditions (Hotel California, Long Train
Runnin', Midnight Rider)...Ron's voice is amazingly clean and powerful after years of belting out tunes unlike some of our other 80s icons that have
drank, smoked and screamed their voices into hoarse sawdust; Paul's voice is pure blues, ready for miles of recording (think Allman Brothers 'Whipping
Post' or 'Trouble No More') and the pair had a secret weapon backing them up in the form of Sam McCaslin, who absolutely pounded the keys into
oblivion with a boogie that would make Billy Powell from Skynyrd flinch in amazement. The best part was getting to see fine musicianship up close and
enjoying the opportunity to talk with these rock veterans about music and whatever. If you can catch them, by all means do so!
