Hey Ron,
I am 34 and a huge metalhead, but admittedly(and regrettably) was never exposed to Keel in the "heyday". But I've been checking out some of your stuff
and really digging it. The Ironhorse stuff is cool too. I've never really been a country guy before, but my girlfriend loves country and the country
rock spin you put on your music might just get me into your stuff. I had the chance to check out your acoustic show at the I-Rock in Detroit a couple
months ago, but didn't make it out there (times are tight). I'm sure I could have bought some music there to further familiarize my self with your
musical history. Anyway, I read somewhere that you were going to release kind of a "best-of" c.d. that touches on every facet of your career. What is
the status on this, and in the meantime what would you recommend I purchase to really get the jist of your music and where can I find it? Sorry for
the long ass letter and thanks for your time..

Hi Jason -
Better late than never, and good music is timeless anyway. I highly recommend the new IronHorse CD "BRING IT ON" - I'm not sure by your post if you
have it or not, but if not you can order it from our web site http://www.ironhorseband.com
The "Ron Keel Anthology" has long been a dream of mine, and WILL happen, but has been put on temporary hold for a very good reason, which I hope to
announce here in the near future.
There is pending news regarding my metal & hard hard releases from KEEL & Saber Tiger, and I look forward to making those announcements here
soon.
And for your girlfriend who enjoys country music, I am extremely proud of my "Country Years" compilation. This will once again be available via my web
site soon.
So hang in there with us, a lot of good news and good music is on the horizon.
