Tracey--
I noticed Ron hasn't replied to this, so I thought I would.
Currently we're concentrating on the foreign release of the current IronHorse CD thru our new deal with Rock Candy records. We expect this release to
see the light of day in the fall, but there is a bunch of work to do before this happens. The label over there is looking to create a slightly
different release than the one that was released here in the States last fall on Compendia/V-Tone records that you have. So far, they're looking at
remixing some of the album, new cover art, a new title, and including tracks that didn't make the U.S. release while dropping a couple of others.
Obviously, all this takes time to sort out.
As far as BRAND new material, IronHorse did showcase a couple of new tunes the last time we were in Ohio and even though the band has been lying low
lately, the writing of new material continues on an individual basis. I personally have 4-5 new tunes specifically written with IronHorse in mind. Ron
has been busy with Charlie Wayne and I know they write constantly, therefore Ron will likely have material in the can that will work for IronHorse.
In addition, we work with some of the best professional writers in the business who have been responsible for some of our strongest songs (Three
Sheets, One Hell Of A Ride, I Can't Stop You, etc.).
Any way you cut it, I expect us to have a bumper crop of strong material to choose from when the time comes to record the next record. But first we've
gotta make this overseas release the best it can be and with the support of Rock Candy Records, that's exactly what we expect to do.
