Yesterday I finally had to do the inevitable. I have had to quit my job. The hours I was able to work were becoming so erratic and unpredictable it
was making it impossible for my employer to know when he could count on me being there. So, putting my pride away, and taking Doctors advice
(demands) I have decided to accept my fate and stay home.
The confusion is worsening, I am no longer able to drive the freeway, or major roads in heavy traffic. When there is too much to concentrate on.. I
space out and have panic attacks since I cant understand what is going on. Last night Jimmy and I attended a performance of Circque De Soleil and I
found myself spending 15 minutes trying to figure out if this acrobat had something on his right leg or left.. HEHE I never did figure it out.. but
it sure brought home to me how much trouble Im having in keeping my concentration where it needs to be, and how even the simplest things are
sometimes more than I can handle. Thanks to my brother for buying me the DVD so I can watch it again and see what they were doing while my mind was
elsewhere.
This week I am being sent to a psychiatrist to determine the level of depression I am going through due to the illness. and next month I will be
seeing a Neurologist for testing to determine the extent of damage to the Central Nervous System causing the inability of my brain to process
information normally. No word yet from Social Security on the disability application, but I do now get all the best parking places with my handicap
placard. (Trying to look on the bright side)
Im looking forward to seeing everyone in September and will have a big hug for each and everyone of you.
I\'m your people and you\'re MY band!
