On Monday January 16, Retrospect Records will release "Blitzkrieg: Ready For Action" on CD. This is a 6-song mini-album which I produced in 1985. The band was heavily influenced by KEEL, and I was of course flattered enough to take them into the studio and become their guide and mentor. This project was very much a hands-on operation and a labor of love - I went so far as to co-write 3 of the songs, design the album cover, sing backup vocals, and oversaw every aspect of the studio production. (KEEL was being produced by Gene Simmons at the time, and this project was my way of playing 'Little Gene' with a band that I discovered).

The project sold well and gained some attention in major metal media at the time, until the distributor folded (the head of the company disappeared with all the money from the sales of this album and many others in their catalog). It has been previously only available as an inferior bootleg, and I am pleased that we reached an agreement with Retrospect Records to bring this rare gem into the 21st century.
