Keel pix, etc

Hey everyone, I'm gonna share some old pix and stuff from my Keel scrapbook I kept back in the 80's. I'm not sure how much of this stuff is still out there but I pretty much kept everything...so from time to time I'm gonna post stuff here as I get it all scanned into my computer. Hope everyone enjoy's them....

A pic I took at a show at Papagio's in Milwaukee in 1984. I eventually had Ron autograph it...

Flyer from July 27th, 1985...21 years ago today! Where did the time go?

A pic from the instore before the '85 show...

Flyer from the '89 Roxy show/Larger Than Live taping...

Ok, here's a couple more...

This first one was taken backstage at Billy's Old Mill in Milwaukee in 1986 (maybe '87?). The place sadly no longer exists either. A grocery store that was next door expanded and took over the space. The milk section now sits where the stage used to be...LOL.

And here's 2 more from that instore in July of 85 that I posted before...

More pix...

Hi all, Brenda here again...Well, I finally got around to scanning some more pix...I wish I had more time to do this--but that damn job gets in the way, you know?? And well, there's bands to go see on the weekends--with not much free time inbetween--except for sleep! LOL.

Anyway, these few here will be the last of the "personal" pix, that were actually taken by me, that I will share from my collection. All of these are from '84...most of the other shows I was at, were at venues that did not allow cameras anyway.

Here's an interesting one of the band... all twisted together...

Another of Ron...

On an interesting note--by the end of the show, BOTH of the red wristbands were gone from Ron's arms. I had one and some other guy had the other. I have no idea what ever happened to it after all these years tho...

A couple of Bryan...

One of Kenny...

I used to know Kenny's brother, Todd. Todd found this pic very amusing.

...And one of Ron & Kenny...

One of Marc...

One of Dwain..

And here's a couple more from the instore in '85...Kenny & Dwain..

Here's an interview from a local paper from the night of the '85 show at the Eagles Club. I think that the writer, KC, was the guy who had that other red wristband...

Some old guitar pics...the "rk" was coming off on Ron's but you can still sort of see it...

I'll post some promo's next...

Some Promo's

Here are some old 8X10 glossy promo's.

Here's one of Ron alone...

Here's one of the band...

And his one is an old one from the Lay Down the Law era...Ron gave this to me along with a bunch of other stuff the first time I met him, in exchange for a unique Keel button I had made, and was wearing on my jacket. He wanted it, so we traded. On the bottom of the pic where Ron signed it the first time (blue pen), it says "Thanks for the button". I had since had him re-sign it in marker and the rest of the band too...

That's it for now. I'll start scanning all the magazine clippings soon...
