On Tuesday August 29th I'll be attending the MAGIC Convention in Las Vegas to help promote our new retail merchandising deals with Balzout & Bioworld. MAGIC is a trade show for clothing and apparel, and Balzout will be premiering the new 'Rockstalgia' line of concert merchandise from bands like KEEL, Dokken, Winger, Angel, Steelheart, Starz, and many more.

'Rockstalgia' items such as concert t-shirts, hats, and much more will soon be appearing in retail outlets such as Spencer's, Hot Topic, and elsewhere.

Thanks to our licensing agents Jim Paidas and Jon Levin at Paidas Management for making all this happen. Balzout will be hosting the after-party at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, and I expect to see old friends Don Dokken, Stephen Pearcy, Kip Winger, Metal Mike, and many others there. I will be sure to file a complete report on the Message Board Forum.

WOW! That's really cool. Is there anyway to order those online or by telephone? I would love to have one of those!

REPORT: Magic Convention, Day 1

Just finished up a killer day at the convention in Vegas - the merchandise is awesome, and the convention is like the NAMM show for clothing, absolutely huge. Hanging with me at the Balzout booth today were Kip Winger, Pat Travers, Jon Levin (Dokken), Frank Dimino (Angel), and Mili from Steelheart (the awesome voice featured in the movie "Rock Star")...It was like a Spinal Tap family reunion. ...Stephen Pearcy's flight was delayed but I'll see him tomorrow, along with Don Dokken, Metal Mike, and others. Tomorrow is also the big Balzout party at the Hard Rock, I hope to get pictures and post 'em soon.

The 'Rockstalgia' program is just getting off the ground, but it promises to be huge and I'm really proud to be a part of it. Also did a deal today to manufacture KEEL belt buckles, how cool is that.

Report - 6 pm Pacific Time - Magic, Day 2 - Tuesday August 29

Taking a break from the festivities - spent the day at the convention, meeting with lots of retailers, fans, and other cats from 'back in the day': today's guests included myself, Metal Mike (guitarist for Rob Halford & Sebastian Bach + Painmuseum), Ritchie Ranno (Starz), Chip from Enuff Z'Nuff (hope I spelled that right), and again Frank Dimino from Angel and Mili from Steelheart - also on hand were my old friends Stephen Pearcy & Don Dokken (Don and I shook hands and smiled, didn't speak, no blows were thrown).

I am also hanging with my graphic artist Stewart Johnson, who did the graphic design for "Alone At Last" and many of the 'Rockstalgia' merchandise items. Stew rocks, and is keeping a photographic record of the festivities for us to document the week.

I've got a couple of hours to chill before the big Balzout party at the Hard Rock Cafe. I'll let you know how it goes.
