That is fantastic news about a possible "Best Of" KEEL release!

I hope the following songs make the cut:

1. Somebody's Waiting
2. United Nations
3. Tears of Fire
4. Calm Before the Storm
5. The Right to Rock

The one that starts out with the quick drum solo, then goes to the guitar sliding. I think it's Get Down.

There are so many good Keel songs. Its hard to choose but, I will try:

1 Lay Down The Law
2 Born Ready
3 The Right To Rock
4 Back To The City
5 Let's Spend The Night Together
6 Speed Demon
7 Rock N Roll Animal
8 Because The Night
9 Here Today Gone Tomorrow
10 Raised On Rock
11 United Nations
12 Somebody's Waiting
13 King Of The Rock
14 Its A Jungle Out There
15 Calm Before The Storm
16 I Said The Wrong Thing To The Right Girl
17 Rock N Roll Outlaw
18 Proud To Be Loud

Whoa! Looks like I ran out of room. And I didn't even get to Larger Than Live. Like KEELAHOLIC71 says...Box Set Time.

Better late than never--since I was not a member here when Ron brought the topic up...

I haven't listened to alot of the old stuff in years, and I can't play any LP's at the moment--but I did find all my old stuff on cassette which notably includes a pre-release promo of "Keel". So I busted out the tape player--and I've been listening to them again alot in the past few days since I joined--along with "Alone at Last" of course. A friend of mine said she'd transfer everything to CD for me, so I hope to do that soon. All I can say is OMG, what memories---I still can sing along with all of them! I'm totally relivin' my youth here--which is awesome since I'm 40 now. LOL! I'd gladly go back in time to see a Keel show again...*sigh*

Anyway, I'd pick these songs for a "Best of"...

Calm Before The Storm
Till Hell Freezes Over
Dreams Are Not Enough
Tears of Fire
Rock N Roll Outlaw
The Right To Rock
Somebody's Waiting
Rock And Roll Animal
Because the Night (should this count or not???)
Evil Wicked Mean & Nasty
Die Fighting
Private Lies
