Through the years, I have been very fortunate to have experienced so many different thrills that this business has to offer - I've been a rock star, a country singer, an actor, a producer, a songwriter, done almost every aspect of the business behind the scenes, and lots more - and now, I can add 'Cowboy Poet' to my resume.

My lyrics to the song "Haunted Saloon" will appear in a new book: "Cowboy Poetry Of The Southwest", compiled by John Abernathy of Albuquerque New Mexico.

The book is scheduled for release before the holidays, and will be available at http://ronkeel.com, at my gigs, and elsewhere on line and in retail stores.

Net proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros (ISPMB); they run a sanctuary up in South Dakota and have the White Sands Mustangs in addition to a herd taken from near Gila Bend, AZ.

I am very proud that these lyrics were selected for this collection, and I'll keep you updated as the release date draws near.
