FUNNY KEEL STORY...LET'S HEAR YOURS!!!

THIS IS A STORY I RAN BY RONNIE SOME TIME AGO. HE URGED ME TO POST IT, BUT NEVER DID...UNTIL NOW. IF ANYONE HAS ANY SIMILAR STORIES, PERTAINING TO RK, OR ANY OF HIS RELATED PROJECTS, LET'S SHARE!!! THOUGHT I WOULD POST NOW SINCE THERE HASN;T BEEN ANY ACTIVITY LATELY.... Back when I was in High School(seems like such a long time ago) Hard rock, metal, or whatever you want to categorize it, was all I cared about. It was on my boombox, TV,, my walls in my room, my locker at school, and in my blood. If it ROCKED, I was there! Several of my friends had the same attitude so we decided we were going to have the best band EVER...Great idea, right? We forgot one important element though...We didn't know how to play instruements...I personally couldn't carry a tune in a 5 gallon bucket...still can't. That wasn't(in our minds) going to stop the Hottest band in Greensburg, PA. We would meet at my house after school to "ROCK OUT". Everyone had their instruement, hair(real of course) and attitude to go with it. All of this long, drawn-out story IS going somewhere folks, I promise! On one paticular "band ractice" we decided we were going to "perform" "NO PAIN NO GAIN" to the 15,000 fans at Pittsburgh's Civic Arena...A.K.A. my Dad's recently remodled living room, which was OFF LIMITS to kids at the time. Anyway, we all got so pumped up by the opening bars of "No Pain"(Still does this to me to this day) so we did what our "screaming fans" came to see...ROCK THE CEILING OFF THIS JOINT, literally...I put the head of my bass right through the ceiling. My dad's hard work remodeling the house had just been destroyed by KEEL...The "fans" (my ****apoo named Bo) was absolutely thrilled, I had to learn how to patch a ceiling, and our "band" was exiled to practice in the garage...Thanks for the inspiration Ron. I still can't patch a ceiling to save my life, but your music still keeps me going! You rock man!
